Educational Background
Andy started his Chinese Medicine journey in 2018 at the Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe. His background in Kung Fu allowed him to resonate very well with the myofascial aspect of the medicine displaying impeccable hand work. Andy transferred to the Colorado Chinese Medicine University in Denver after the Covid pandemic, where he graduated with 50% more hours of clinical experience treating patients than the core requirements.

Personal Biography
Andy is a local New Mexican who was raised near the Rio Grande in the fertile South Valley of Albuquerque. His grandparents moved to Albuquerque in the 1950s to farm, and his entire family has been here ever since.
Andy graduated from Rio Grande High School and then went on to study at the University of New Mexico where he achieved his Bachelors in Theater with a Dramatic Writing Emphasis. Andy has acted and performed in several plays, sketch comedy shows, improv performances, television shows, and movies filmed in NM.
Andy is also an avid martial artist who has studied Kung Fu and Tai Chi for over 15 years! This was the catalyst that sparked his initial interest into Chinese Medicine. Other hobbies of any include anything outside, whether it’s hiking up in Otero Canyon or just walking along the bosque with his wife. He also enjoys spending time with his family and community.
In 2017 Andy served on the Board of Directors at the Islamic Center of New Mexico as the Director of Youth. Andy has a deep love for community and is eager for the opportunity to now assist at a deeper level in helping resolve disorders that interfere with our individual and collective wellbeing.
