Tom began massage school a week after 9/11, walking away from the fields of Emergency Medicine and Fire Fighting. "I felt a different calling to help people in a way I could only achieve with my hands."

Tom’s career is centered around Medical Massage Therapy, where his gifts in the arts of Deep Tissue, Sports and Clinical bodywork truly shine. In essence, he looks for what hurts and does all he can within his nearly 20 years of professional experience to make it better.  Tom is a lifelong student of Massage who enjoys actively learning new techniques at every stage of his career, thus his motto “More tools for the toolbox.”  Over the years Tom's love of learning has allowed him to combine the arts of Massage, Fitness, and Preventive Health.

With his unique set of skills, Tom is a Practitioner with a thorough understanding of how injuries occur, and what tools within his scope of practice may be applied to support relief for those who seek his care.

As a native of this enchanted land, Tom has gravitated towards manual therapy and bodywork since a young age.  Upon Graduating from massage school in the summer of 2002 with an exceptional GPA and accolades from his instructors, he was bestowed the honor Student of the Year.  Tom continued to educate himself here in Northern NM at CNM, where he studied Exercise Science, Pre-Med & Health Sciences. Tom has worked at award winning spas and has had private practices in Santa Fe and Albuquerque.  He has worked in just about every conceivable type of massage , including Australia and Canada.

He is also an accomplished metal sculptor, welder, and fabricator. One of his hobbies is making functional art pieces that are awesome to look at and have fun daily use. In the past he worked everything from structural welding to dance club bar-tending to innkeeper in the Jemez mountains.  He holds a degree in Applied Science and multiple certificates in EMS, firefighting, massage, personal training, welding and gardening.
