Julianna Santillanes, LMT #8823
Julianna is originally from New Mexico but lived for many years in Alaska until moving back to Santa Fe in the Spring of 2018. After Julianna received her BA from St. John’s College in 2006, she was interested in non-verbal communication which lead her to massage school where she found her calling at the Scherer Institute of Natural Healing (SFSOM).
Soon after graduating, Julianna returned to Alaska where she developed and implemented a complimentary prenatal massage program for eight years at an OB/GYN clinic at Providence Hospital in Anchorage, massaging thousands of pregnant women from all over the world.
She has over 150-hours of continuing education in Bodywork for the Childbearing Year (preconception, pregnancy, labor & postpartum) and was trained as a Dona Postpartum Doula and an Infant Massage Instructor. Julianna also practiced massage at an Alaskan birth center and in that time did contract massage with the Native Hospital on Kodiak Island. Now as a Registered Massage Instructor, Julianna has developed her own pregnancy massage workshops based on her years of experience and education that she teaches in Alaska, Hawaii and New Mexico.
While Julianna has specialized in bodywork for the childbearing year, she customizes her wellness massage for people of all ages, genders and stages of life.
