A native New Mexican, Ashley has always been drawn to explore the body's potential. As an avid runner, hiker and backpacker, she sought the most effective, evidence-based ways to support her own body. This search inspired her to study massage, completing a 700-hour curriculum at the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts. Her studies at NMAHA included Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology of Injury and Disease, Medical Massage, and Therapeutic Massage. She became Nationally Certified in Massage and Bodywork in 2008. Since then, Ashley has worked in many top-ranked spas in Santa Fe and New England.
Further in-depth studies of MyoFascial Release techniques, Specific Injury rehabilitation and Trigger Point therapy have enhanced her ability to assist clients in resolving both acute and chronic musculoskeletal issues. She stays abreast of medical research in the field of bodywork and injury rehabilitation, always incorporating the most up-to-date knowledge into her treatment plans. Using medical massage to support and fine-tune, Ashley seeks to help her clients' bodies to find their greatest ease and strength. Employing anatomically informed bodywork techniques, she works with each unique client to create a safe space for the body to comfortably unwind. Her essential focus is for each individual she works with to feel as balanced and fluid as possible.
"Our bodies exist on a dynamic spectrum. By providing an individualized sensory experience, medical massage can play a powerful role in supporting vibrancy and well-being."
